Who we are

Aus Solar Rebates is a free service that helps Australian homeowners check solar and battery rebate eligibility and compare quotes from independent installers. We are not an installer, a retailer, or a government body, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.

What we collect

Information you give us through the rebate check: your name, email address, mobile number, postcode, property type, ownership status, approximate electricity bill and whether you are interested in solar, battery or both.

Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and advertising click identifiers so we can measure which campaigns work.

Why we collect it

To confirm your mobile number by SMS, to check which rebates may apply in your area, to introduce you to a maximum of three verified installers who can quote on your job, and to contact you about your enquiry.

Who we share it with

A maximum of three installers from our network who service your postcode, so they can contact you with a quote. We do not sell your details to unrelated third parties or add you to bulk marketing lists.

Service providers who help us operate the site — hosting, email delivery and SMS verification — who may only use your information to provide those services to us.

Anyone else where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by Australian law.

Marketing and consent

By submitting the form you consent to being contacted by us and by the matched installers about your enquiry, by phone, SMS and email, even if your number is listed on the Do Not Call Register. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or emailing us.

Verification codes

We send a one-time code by SMS to confirm your number is correct. The code is short-lived and is used only for verification. Standard carrier message rates may apply.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. No online transmission is ever completely secure.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@panoramamarketingau.org and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising platform tags, to understand how people find and use this site and to measure ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
